304 Stainless Scrap

304 stainless steel scrap (often termed SS 304 scrap) is the most heavily traded and recycled grade of stainless steel in the world. Formally known as 18/8 stainless steel, it contains roughly 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This chemical combination renders it non-magnetic in its raw form and highly resistant to rusting.
