Brass Scrap is a premium, highly profitable non-ferrous recycling commodity consisting of copper-zinc alloys. Governed strictly by the ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries) framework, brass is widely recycled because remelting it requires significantly less energy than manufacturing virgin alloys from raw copper and zinc.
