Tense Scrap

Tense Scrap (governed globally under the ISRI code “Tense”) consists of mixed aluminum castings recovered primarily from automotive components, small engines, and machinery housings. Because it originates from cast products rather than rolled sheets or structural profiles, it carries a high concentration of silicon and iron, making it the foundational raw material for secondary aluminum ingot manufacturers.
