Copper Turnings

Copper Turnings (industrially traded under the ISRI code “Night”) consist of the unalloyed copper chips, borings, shavings, and curls generated during the mechanical drilling, milling, routing, and turning of copper components in machine shops. While chemically pure at their core, their physical structure requires careful processing before they can be safely melted.
